Prof. Dr. Gülsün YILDIRIM AYDIN was born in 1973 in Konya. She completed her primary, secondary and high school in Konya. In 1996, she graduated from Selcuk University, Faculty of Dentistry.

Between 1996-2005, she continued her studies as a “Research Assistant”, in 2005 as an “Assistant Professor”, in 2010 as an “Associated Professor” and in 2016 as a “Professor” at the same University and Faculty, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2018 she left Selcuk University Faculty of Dentistry and she started to work at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University Faculty of Dentistry as a dean.

Throughout her academic life, she has thaught graduate, master’s and PhD courses. She has advised on doctoral and specialty theses. She has also served in many associate professorship juries.

She has published a lot of articles both internationally and nationally. Her researches have been cited in distinguished Research articles in the international index. She has participated as a speaker and attendee in various national and international scientific meetings.

She is a member of Turkish Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society. She speaks English well and is married.
